Documenting A Day
A Day using word processing application Word
At my work we use Word processing applications to create procedures and logging my team’s work for taking care of inquiries that flew in from customer representatives and branch representatives, as I am in the back office wire transfer team. For the procedure creating, we do use these functions:
Indent function for automatic indentation for certain parts
Different fonts
Different size of the fonts, and boldness
For the procedure that is ommitted, in the process of modifying it, we use the underline or highlight.
There are multiple screenshots to show the examples, screenshots are attached within the document.
When the tables are created, we use table button that allows one to simply adjust the cursor for determining the number of rows and columns.
To make sure it is printable, margin needs to be checked and adjusted with the printer setting.
The orientation is important for printing the document so that it is not in a wrong side.
Paragraph section is a useful one to go in and adjust, if there is indentation and spacing to be determined throughout the document.
Insert can allow one to add links, drawings, pictures, table, head, footer and page numbers. Page numbers is important to be included as the procedure can be easier to point out the part to be checked or referred to.
